Resume

Ece graduated from the Department of Economics in English of the Faculty of Economics at İstanbul University in 1992, and began her professional career the same year as a receptionist for R. J. Reynolds Turkey. After working as a Human Resources and Administration Department Assistant, Training and Development Assistant, Training Specialist and Training Chief, she became Training and Development Manager in 1999, and Manager Responsible for Recruitment, Training, Career Planning and Back-up System in 2005. Having also worked as a Product Manager, she gained experience in launching new products and product marketing.
Leading a number of international projects throughout her career, Ece established Training Systematics and Career Planning Systematics that made JTI Turkey a “Best practice market.” In 2007, she contributed to JTI Turkey Marketing Company acquiring the “Investors in People” (IIP) certification both for marketing and production companies in GOLD standards, a first in Turkey and in the tobacco industry, and she also began the process of IIP’s expansion globally.

She began her sports career as a gymnast for Eczacıbaşı in 1979, and became a swimmer for İstanbul Swimming Specialty Club (IYIK) and the national swimming team. Ece represents her country on the international level, swimming for IYIK, ASSK and the Turkish National Swimming Team. She became a licensed Zumba Fitness Instructor in 2011, and is actively competing in the Masters category.
